It really makes one think twice.

Since I connected the Efergy meter to my mains board, I have realised enough savings to have the unit pay for itself in less than 3 months.

How?

With the meter standing next to me, I can now see how much power is being used and when. It makes one acutely aware of the costs of keeping things on when they are not in use.

Downloading the information onto my PC for historic data one can see trends per day, week, month.

I can now see when someone has left a computer on, forgot to switch off a TV, did not close the fridge properly, all by watching the usage every now and then.

If one is serious about cutting down on power usage, the Efergy meter is an absolute must as the very first step. Facts and figures on a hourly, daily, monthly and annual basis.

I can only but recommend it for serious energy conscious people who wants to make a difference and save money to boot.
