Business Days (definition)
Business Days are considered to be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Shipping / Delivery
We sell online and offline. We sell online using credit card payments. We sell offline using internet transfers.
We only sell online to customers in South Africa. If you are outside South Africa and wish to place an order please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Orders under R600 attract a shipping fee of R60. All orders above R600 are shipped free of charge anywhere in the country except farms. For farms, we will ship to your nearest post office
You need to create an account in order to purchase from this site. Once you have created an account you can choose your invoice and delivery addresses and you can enter your VAT number if you have one.
All deliveries are sent with VAT invoices from My Power Station Technology cc trading as Orbital Decisions.
VAT
All prices shown on this web site include VAT at 14%. VAT Invoices will be emailed to all customers. If you are registered for VAT, please ensure that your Company Name and VAT number are included in your purchase details. To find your VAT number, either add it when creating your account or click "My Account", "Your Address Book", "Edit".
Packaging
Please keep all packaging for at least 60 days after receiving your products.
Orders
We will try to ship all orders the business day after receiving payment for them. Orders received after 5pm will be considered to have been received the next business day. We use an overnight service for our deliveries. Orders shipped on Friday will be for delivery on Monday. Our couriers will email our clients to confirm dates and times of delivery.
In some cases our couriers cannot deliver the day after collection from us and they will inform ourselves and yourselves when this happens.
Out of stock policy
Out of stock items are usually listed as out of stock.
However, as this is an automated service, it can happen that a product that you order from us is out of stock. If this happens, we will inform you on the following business day.
You can then choose to cancel the order or wait for its delivery. All guarantees are only effective from the time you receive your order.
Returns and Refunds Policy
We offer a full money back guarantee on all products purchased from us up until the time you receive and sign for the product. If you chose not to sign for the product, our couriers will return it to us and we will give you a full credit. If you wish to return a product that you have received then: 1) please contact us on returns@orbital.co.za and we will issue you with a returns number or 2) Login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will organise our courier to collect the goods from you. If you are returning part of an order then we will ask you to measure and weigh the items being returned. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. If you have signed for or opened the product, then charges might be applicable depending on the type of product that you are returning and how long after receiving it you wish to return it to us.
We will start our refund process within 2 business days of us receiving the returned goods. Refunds will always be using the same method as payment, eg payment by credit card will be refunded by credit card. Please note that all non credit card transactions will incur a 10 business day delay before being refunded. This is due to potentially fraudulent deposits into our account.
If a product proves defective we will arrange for it to be swopped out free of charge for 30 days after delivery or if you are in Cape Town we might visit you to see what's wrong. After this period you will be responsible for payment of sending the product to us and we will check the product before deciding on a replacement. We will let you know of the swop out process by email should the need arise.
Note that you can also change your mind at any time before an order is collected from us and we will give you a full refund.
Please keep all packaging for at least 30 days after receiving your product(s) so that you can return them to us in the original packaging.
